The Class of 2011 traveled to five area colleges on Aug. 27 to tour the campuses and the libraries. Students visited Clayton State, Emory, Georgia Perimeter, Georgia State, or Georgia Tech based on their college category preferences (public v. private, two-year v. four-year). Senior sponsors, counselors, and librarians accompanied the groups and assisted students to find sources in the libraries for their Senior Project research papers. This is the third year of the senior tours, and it was planned this year to coincide with senior English teachers’ research units.
