Members of Decatur’s marching band traveled over 1300 miles to Chiapas, Mexico last spring. Next week, they’re returning the favor by hosting members of the Chiapas band.

Every two years the association that governs high school sports goes through a process of regrouping schools based on student population. Because Decatur has grown over the last couple of years, the school is being reclassified as 3-A and will see new competition next year.
